About Tell Me A Story

Everyone has a personal story that, like fingerprints, is unique to the individual and should be shared. Most stories, however, require thought and care to turn them into great narratives that keep an audience on the edge of their chairs. Tell Me A Story provides that support. Along the way many story tellers overcome their fear of public speaking.

At Tell Me a Story our coaches work with story tellers to craft their tales into compelling stories who then share them with family and friends in an informal setting - "The Story Teller Salon".

At the The Story Teller Salon, storytellers showcase their work by captivating the audience with fine-tuned tales. It is a memorable and magical experience.

The Story of Story Telling

Story telling has been a fundamental part of human culture from cave paintings to epic poems serving various purposes such as preserving history, passing down cultural values and fostering connections within communities. Stories humanize experiences encouraging connections across diverse backgrounds. Additionally, story telling is not just a means of communicating; it’s a powerful tool for advocacy and social change. Today story telling remains a vital opportunity for individuals and groups to speak out and share their unique experiences while also creating a space for camaraderie and connection.

As one story teller said:

I’m grateful for the practical information and coaching methods Tell Me A Story gave me. Collaborating with others in the class and watching them develop their stories helped me to not only share my story; it also gave me the confidence to share it with an audience of family and friends. When I finally told my story publicly you could hear a pin drop. Thank you Tell Me A Story.
